Beyond the basic title of Dominant or submissive, are there other titles you prefer or are interested in exploring?
Are there any that turn you off or don’t seem like a good fit for you?
I generally introduce myself as a Leather boy and courtesan. I don’t always indicate that I’m a slave (the collar generally does that for me). The Leather is more important to me anyway. It shapes a lot of my outlooks on the lifestyle and has deeply shaped my power exchange path.
It’s probably why I refer to myself as His boy or His girl rather than His sub.
I’m also a masochist, a (baby) bootblack, a bottom.
I don’t identify with very feminine titles beyond courtesan. I don’t identify as a pet or a little or anything on the top side. I enjoy exploring some of these roles and have done so, but the words don’t fit me.
I see a lot of titles and labels as very flexible things and I enjoy dabbling in other people’s “pools” without picking up the label or term permanently. I am a strong believer in utilizing labels to explore ourselves. Labels and identifiers can help us connect with others in unique ways. I also think that these words can have deeper meanings and connections than our surface understanding can lead us to believe and it’s worth taking the time to understand how each individual uses them.
