30 Days of D/s – What Titles and Labels Do You Prefer?

Beyond the basic title of Dominant or submissive,
are there other titles you prefer or are interested in exploring?
Are there any that turn you off or don’t seem like a good fit for you?

I generally introduce myself as a Leather person. I don’t always indicate that I’m a slave (the collar generally does that for me). The Leather is more important to me anyway. It shapes a lot of my outlooks on the lifestyle and has deeply shaped my own power exchange path.

It’s probably why I refer to myself more as His boy/boi/girl rather than His sub.

I’m also a masochist, a (baby) bootblack, a bottom. “Bitch” is exclusively reserved for my Daddy.

I don’t identify with very feminine titles. I don’t identify as a pet in particular or a little or anything on the top side. I enjoy exploring some of these roles and have done so, but the words don’t fit me (yet?).

I see a lot of titles and labels as very flexible things and I enjoy dabbling in other people’s “pools” without picking up the label or term permanently. I am a strong believer in utilizing labels to explore ourselves but I also think that they can stretch further than the surface may lead us to believe.

  1. I agree, labels can be both helpful and limiting. Plus, the labels you give each other might not be what you want the outside world to know of call you. Great post and glad to have found your blog.
